Board certified in Optometry, Dr. Iburg is the primary optometrist at Lenza Eye Center.

Dr. Iburg received his doctorate degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.

For his undergraduate studies, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University with a bachelor degree in Computer Science and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Iburg enjoys tennis, skiing, billiards, playing the alto saxophone, gardening, and cheering on the Portland Trailblazers.

Dr. Iburg enjoys caring for his patients as much as he enjoys getting to know them and their families. Growing up in the town of Pendleton, Oregon he learned the importance of family and community, and this is evident in the care that he provides for his patients.

He is trained in a wide scope of practices including diabetic eye care, diagnosing and managing ocular disease (such as cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and others), fitting soft and hard contact lenses, pre- and post-operative LASIK care, and prescribing glasses that provide comfortable vision.
